"Literature is my Utopia. Here I am not disenfranchised. No barrier of the senses shuts me out from the sweet, gracious discourses of my book friends. They talk to me without embarrassment or awkwardness." -Helen Keller
myplaceandsoul said: Hi :) I've just read your last posted answer and I felt liked I was reading my own words, even my literature english in high school is as awesome as your descrived! I am also majoring in english literature and write books, which is my passion and won't change for anything in the world -bad luck that I am catalan and not english, and publishing is harder when you write in a minoritarian language-... I also thought about studying journalism -sport journalism, because I am a great football (soccer if you are american) fan and I've spend a lot of years writing about it in a blog- but I looked inside me and I decided what I could never stop doing, what was my essence, my reason, my happiness, and the answer was "books, literature, writing, reading, learning, I really need to be into this world, I belong to this world". I just needed to share this to you.
Have a nice day!
Francesca.

This is beautiful. I love sharing, share some more! If you have the will I have 100% faith that you will be published someday. Good luck with your major! :)
