werboxingthestars asked: I saw your posts about The Fault In Our Stars this morning and hadn't read any John Green. I went and bought it, started reading it in my car outside of Barnes and Noble. Just finished it. I'm not sure whether to thank you for bringing it to my attention, or demand an apology for my present emotional state (re: exhausted, half-wrecked). So I guess I'll do both. This isn't a...

Anonymous asked: so, im currently trying to find a book to read and am thoroughly stumped. i tend to like fiction books that are completely out of reality. hunger games, harry potter, even twilight. any suggestions?
intervital asked: I want to read Anais Nin but I'm not sure if I should start with the beginning of her fiction, her diaries, or with a biography of hers. Have you read her? What do you think of her work? Where should I start?
Anonymous asked: pssst, I think they actually were being serious! You might as well give them a real explanation. :P Even if it's a joke, at least you took the time to be honest with them.
nobodys-pendeja asked: I agree with the person that suggested Camus: The stranger is an incredible book if you can get the concept behind it. His take on existentialism is simplistically wonderful!
booklit-deactivated20120305 asked: I hate to add to your daunting list of asks, but I wanted to share with you that you are one of my favorite blogs on tumblr. ^_^
liberationista-deactivated20130 asked: Hi there, have you, or have any of your followers, read Don DeLillo's White Noise? If so, could you or your followers please recommend a similar book with themes of consumerism, the detrimental effects of technology, fear (particularly a fear of death), mortality and obsession with appearances (physical and otherwise)? I would be so grateful for any help; I've looked everywhere to no...
athletique asked: I cannot describe how much I adore your blog.
Anonymous asked: We seem to have similar literary taste, so I just thought I'd suggest a book for you. I dunno if you've ever read/ heard of it, but Robertson Davie's "Fifth Business" is worth a read.

theroof347 asked: I love your reading list but am wondering about the strike throughs. Are these books you've changed your mind about? Also, I recommend the Zodiac series by Vicki Petterson and the Alexia Tarabotti series by Gail Carriger. These are my faves right now. Happy Reading!

r-a-c-h-nguyen-deactivated20120 asked: hey, I just wanted to say I really like your blog. It's so beautiful (: I might go check out 'The Book Thief' to see what all the hype is about, but I still have a lot of books I am eagerly anticipating. Hopefully I'll enjoy it as much as you did!
Anonymous asked: What do you think about e-book readers? Do you use it? And why?
king-slayer asked: Have you ever read Anna Karenina by Tolstoy? I have always wanted to read it, but I hear it's long, and boring. Any opinions on it?
kelsieexx asked: Was The Book Thief amazing?? My brother is reading it for his 9th grade english summer reading book and he keeps complaining about how slow the beginning is. I love, love, love books and I'm planning on reading it when -- or if -- he ever finishes it. I'm hoping he gets into it soon, because I don't know how much longer I am going to end up waiting for it..
carolblue-deactivated20120624 asked: Hi hi hi! So I notice there are books with penguins on the covers and like all of them look exactly the same. Can you like, gimme a short introduction of those books? Like, are they series? What are they about? Those sorta stuff.
myplaceandsoul asked: Hi :) I've just read your last posted answer and I felt liked I was reading my own words, even my literature english in high school is as awesome as your descrived! Have you ever read anything by Camus? Talk about your existential crisis. He's a must read. Especially The Stranger.

Hey, I set the bar at 100 and ended up actually reading 92 books… so it’s not THAT unrealstic. :D
Two years ago I read over 100 but that’s when my cousin passed away and I stayed in the house for 5 months doing nothing but reading trying to get over it. This year I have a full time job and help with my nieces and nephew. But...

The Fault in Our Stars Part Deux.
EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL AND NOTHING HURT.
Actually, I’m lying. The book did hurt me a little bit but that’s because it touched on some issues of my own. So it goes. John Green did a wonderful job and it is definitely his best novel (which is saying something because the others are perfection). If you haven’t read it or purchased it I recommend that you do. And everyone who is...

The Fault in Our Stars.
I’m not finished yet but I had a nervous breakdown reading up to the point I’m at now. I’m trying to do what John Green said and not spoil it for anyone so I won’t say what made me have the breakdown. I just started crying hysterically because my favorite author hit entirely too close to home and it felt like my heart was breaking all over again. He is only the third author...
